The hotel sits in a lovely area surrounded by hills, making it a tempting spot for motorcycle enthusiasts like myself. There's ample parking in front, allowing easy access to the bikes throughout our stay, which is a significant plus for any biker group.
Rooms could use a serious update. some furnishings feel stuck in the past and create a dated vibe that doesn't match the beautiful exterior. The menu for dinner was rather limited during our visit, and had to ask for essentials that should have been offered upfront. Breakfast options seemed basic, and the food temperature was a bit off. The overall experience felt like it was leaning towards a 'value deal' rather than a quality stay.

Target audience lovers of ambiance
The restaurant had a nice menu of the day that was quite inviting! I appreciated how clean and neat my room was, just like a well-kept lab!
It wasn’t exactly affordable, but I could live with that.

The room was super comfy with an amazing mountain view, and we really enjoyed the delicious breakfast service. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the chance to unwind by the fire after dinner. Just a heads-up, the Wi-Fi only worked in the reception area, but it didn’t ruin our lovely stay! 😊

Had an awesome time with friends! We hiked up Ben Wyvis and explored the tranquil woodland walks nearby. The hotel had great amenities, including a lovely garden and library. Our group enjoyed a variety of activities in the area like fishing and golf. Breakfast was tasty and the packed lunches were a great perk.
My only downside was the shower pressure – it was a trickle, making it tough to rinse off. It was a bit frustrating, especially after a long hike.

The themed dinner nights added a fun vibe to our stay. Some areas definitely need a deep clean. Friendly staff, great dining options, and cozy rooms with beautiful grounds. The antique decor feels outdated, which might not suit everyone's taste.

Stunning stay with fab people
The place is just stunning! The gardens are beautiful and the food was honestly some of the best I've had. The staff were super friendly, always helpful & had great knowledge of the area. The only thing that marred the experience was the mattress, which seriously needs an upgrade for better sleep.

Comfy stay with nice views!
Had a lovely time here! Our room was big and clean with great views. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, tho the sausages weren't great. Just a heads up, the lift only goes to the second floor, so we had to walk up to the third.

The breakfasts were a highlight with scrumptious bacon and sausages that were truly out of this world! Plus, the spacious and clean rooms gave off a cozy vibe, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the Highlands. I'm definitely coming back for another visit!
On checking in, I was told the restaurant was full, and I had to wait until 8:30 PM for a table after a bit of a fuss. It’s a bit of a trek for a proper meal, so be prepared to plan ahead, especially in this neck of the woods!

The room was a small single but pleasantly clean and well-presented, with a surprisingly large bathroom. Staff members were friendly and helpful during my short overnight stay, ensuring a positive atmosphere. the bathroom door needed some maintenance, and the shower situation prompted an unexpected bath instead. The convoluted path to the room was also a bit confusing, needing clearer directions.
